This trip is perfect for those needing a break from or not interested in visiting national parks. It is ideal for trekking, sports and coffee. Sipi Falls lies in the eastern part of Uganda on the slopes of Mt. Elgon, one of the largest volcano craters in East Africa. This area is believed by many to be the most beautiful place in Uganda.
Though we cater every trip to meet your needs, common activities are as follows:
-Hike to visit the 3 different waterfalls that make up Sipi Falls (measuring 100m, 65m, and 40m) – approx. 4-5 hrs. If you’re up for it you can abseil off the tallest fall and/or swim in one of the falls.
-Experience a coffee tour, where you follow the bean from planting to your cup. Pound the coffee yourself and take your results home as a souvenir.
-Enjoy a village walk and spend time so you can spend time with some locals and see how locals live.
-Relax!! The views are stunning, and we highly recommend sundowners overlooking the Rift Valley.
